The Company

An Audio-Visual Solutions Provider is seeking an AV Field Engineer to work in the field on multiple customer sites. The Solutions Provider has a work hard play hard attitude, offers multiple opportunities to learn and develop in the role, with a career ladder for progression into Design if permanent options are available.

 

The Role

The role of AV Field Engineer reports to the Field Services Manager and is key to supporting the Solutions Provider’s client throughout London. You will assist in delivering first and second fix installations of Audio-Visual Equipment for their customers across London. This role involves you liaising with the coordinators and managing your own diary to deliver installations and commissioning to the highest specification and by the agreed deadlines.

 

AV Field Engineer Overview

  • Liaise with customers to adhere to SLA Agreements
  • Commissioning and handover to the end-user of all forms of Audio-Visual installations
  • Carrying out first and second fix installation activities of control systems, Video Conferencing systems, and Audio-Visual systems to the highest standard and by the project deadlines set.
  • Works with Crestron control systems including the upload of files to processors, touch panels, and applications along with minor programming changes.
  • Your key focus is to provide a fast and professional response turning business problems into business solutions.
  • You will work in multiple environments around the City

 

Skills / Experience required for the AV Field Engineer

  • At least two years of commissioning experience
  • A good working knowledge of Crestron and AMX control systems including the ability to upload files to processors, touch panels and applications Be willing to travel to multiple sites
  • Possesses a solid understanding of first and second fix AV installations, to include an excellent working knowledge of the wiring, installation and configuration of Audio-Visual systems.
  • Have the Ability to manage multiple tasks
  • Well Organised, with good attention to detail
  • Have customer liaising experience
  • Must be able to interphase with both technical and non-technical customers.
