The Company

An Audio-Visual Solutions Provider is looking for an On-site AV Engineer to be the focal point at one of their key clients. You will be based on the client site in the heart of London, with easy access to the office and you work on state-of-the-art equipment like AVoIP and Christie Spyder.

AV Engineer Role and Responsibilities

As the Onsite AV Engineer you will be the point of contact for all technical issues, all project work, and any changes or upgrades that will happen. Meaning you will get to hands on experience with all technologies, continue to learn and grow and help progress your career into Team leadership or Solutions Consultant in the future.

As Onsite AV Engineers your day-to-day will include:

• Providing onsite support to all AV Services.
• Work on changes, upgrades, and deployments of the AV equipment
• Complete testing in the training rooms and meeting rooms.
• Utilize the ticketing system to ensure all issues are logged and dealt with.
• Support the onsite team with an technical work that is needed.
• Liaise with Stakeholders and the Account Managers passing on any feedback and recommendations to the AV Services.

Your Skills and Experience

• Strong AV experience with solutions such AVoIP, Crestron, Christie Spyder, BiAMP, Q-Sys, Extron and Video Walls.
• Ideally be Avixa CTS Certified, but not essential the solutions provider can support this.
• Have experience dealing with not technical staff.
• Be able to liaise with stakeholders.
• Have a passion to deliver a good service to the client.
• Any understanding of ITIL methodologies would be a plus.
• Be strong in organizing and planning works.
