AV Designer (Contract)

Job Title: Audio Visual (AV) Designer

Location: Remote – New York / Florida / Miami

Contract Length: 12-Month Contract

The Company

An Audio-Visual Reseller is seeking an AV Designer to work remotely on the East Coast of America. The Reseller works with some of the largest Commercial sites in New York and Florida. As such, they would like the AV designer to be in a similar time zone to their customers.

You will have the opportunity to work on multiple AV solutions including both Greenfield and Brownfield sites: Giving you freedom and creativity in your work. These Solutions will range from Mid to Large Sites, which will give your work real impact for clients.

This is a 12-month contract, and offers completely remote working. While completely remote, being in a similar time zone to the customers will be a big advantage, and you must be located in the USA to be considered.

AV Designer Role Overview

As the AV Designer you will be a key part of the team scoping out the solutions with customers and delivering the design work for implementation. As the AV Designer, you will work directly with customers, as well as providing core information to the projects team. Additionally, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Designing AV Solutions for multiple customers across the East Coast of America.
• Working with both Technical and Non-technical staff to support the delivery of projects.
• Be heavily involved in both Brownfield and Greenfield projects.
• Support the sales team in Technical Solutions.

Skills and Experience Required for the AV Designer

The business offers remote and flexible working, to support you to work how is best for you. The business does ask that you have:

• At least 3 years’ experience in designing AV Solutions.
• Have a good understanding of AV and VC Equipment.
• Experience working in the commercial Sector.
• Have the Ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Well Organised, with good attention to detail.
• Have customer liaising experience.
• Must be able to interphase with both technical and non-technical customers.
