An Audio-Visual Solutions Provider is seeking an AV Commissioning Engineer to work in the field across multiple customer sites in the London area.

The business is a highly accredited AV Solutions Provider, holding numerous partnerships across leading vendors such as Cisco and Microsoft. Meaning you’ll have support with earning additional certifications that you choose to pursue, and will have the opportunity to work with the latest technology on the market.

AV Commissioning Engineer Role and Responsibilities

As AV Commissioning Engineer, you will play a key role in supporting the Solutions Provider’s clients throughout London. You will assist in ensuring all systems and Audio-Visual Equipment are running smoothly for their customers across London. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Liaising with customers to adhere to SLA Agreements.
  • Commissioning and handover to the end-user of all forms of Audio-Visual installations.
  • Liaising with the CAD team to ensure all criteria are met.
  • Ensuring all Video Conferencing systems, and Audio-Visual systems are to the highest standard and are installed by the project deadlines set.
  • Complete Conduct Testing.
  • You will work in multiple environments around the city.
  • You’ll be provided the autonomy you need to manage your own diary, to deliver commissioning to the highest specification and by the agreed deadlines.
  • Report to, and be supported in your work by, the Field Services Manager.

 

Skills and Experience required for the AV Commissioning Engineer

With partnerships and accreditations across leading vendors, the business offers support with additional training and certifications that you choose to pursue. The business does ask however, that you have:

  • At least two years’ experience within the Audio-Visual Space.
  • Experience running FAT and SAT Testing.
  • Possesses a solid understanding of AV and VC installations.
  • Have the Ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Well organised, with good attention to detail.
  • Have customer liaising experience.
  • Must be able to interphase with both technical and non-technical customers.
