An exciting managed service provider, looking to grow their Sales and Accounts team to accommodate their business expansion plans are looking for an experienced Account Manager.

The business is partnered with some of the most exciting vendors in the industry, meaning you’ll be selling some of the most exciting technological solutions to clients. The business, however, are vendor agnostic which means they have the capability to provide solutions dependant on customer need and aren’t restricted to any specific vendors.

This MSP has a strong background in marketing, meaning their marketing capabilities are top class and their lead generation means you’ll spend less time on cold-calling and more time on building client relationships.

IT Account Manager Role & Responsibilities

As the new Account Manager, you will be integral to the expansion plans of the business. You will be primarily responsible for selling IT solutions into senior management within commercial sector clients. This will include selling a large variety of technologies. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Work in a 100% Account Management function.
  • Grow client spend in new and existing clients.
  • Manage key relationships and identify opportunities.
  • Act as strategic advisor for the client, guiding their decision making in the above-mentioned technology stacks.

 

Skills and Experience Required for the IT Account Manager

The business is committed to supporting you in your work, whether that’s with additional sales and management training, or flexibility in your work. The business does ask that you have:

  • 2+ years of experience in IT Sales with experience in selling for a Managed Service Provider.
  • Experience of selling into the commercial sector.
  • Ideally you will have an established network and connections within the industry.
  • Self-driven, results-oriented with a positive outlook, and a clear focus on high quality and business profit.
