The Company
A leading Cyber Security Consultancy is seeking a 3rd Line Support Engineer to work from their office near Oxford. They are a growing organisation and are looking to expand their infrastructure team. They work with the latest technologies, from DevOps and Cloud, focusing on delivering the most secure solutions to some high-profile clients.
About the 3rd Line Support Engineer role
As 3rd Line Engineer, you will provide technical support for servers and networks, as well as:
- Senior escalation point
- Supporting ticketing systems
- Liaising with customers and users
- Troubleshooting, configuration
Skills & experience required for the 3rd Line Support Engineer
- Open to constantly learning and adapting
- Strong background in troubleshooting, configuring and fault resolution
- Minimum 3 years experience in working with Linux
- Virtualisation environment knowledge, preferably VMware
- A strong understanding of Linux Networking
- Exposure to a cloud environment would be ideal
