Location: Watford – Hybrid working

Salary: Up to £40,000 + Package

A global IT Managed Service Provider that prides itself on delivering world-class IT services and solutions is looking for a 1st Line Team Lead to join their Watford office on a hybrid and flexible working basis.

Their aim is to deliver exceptional service to our customers in corporate and public sector organisations: Delivering across a customer core Infrastructure, they offer services for hardware, software, networking, cloud, and support services.

 

1st Line Team Lead Role and Responsibilities

You will act as a technical escalation for the 1st line team and for all managed services customers, as well as provide IT support. The role comes with hands-on experience in multiple technologies, will give you exposure to projects, and give you the opportunities to grow and develop your skills.

  • Maintain client systems, updating, adding to, and improving.
  • Build, and configure new PCs, servers, and network devices to required specifications.
  • Your key focus is to provide support to all act as the first response to escalations and assist the senior engineers.
  • Working with both technical and non-technical staff, you will be involved in supporting both remotely and from the office.

 

Skills & Experience Required for the 1st Line Team Lead

  • You must come from a Managed Service background.
  • Have strong experience with the Microsoft Stack
  • Be experienced with Microsoft 365
  • Ideally have leadership experience
  • Previous experience working in Networks and Servers
  • Must be comfortable with liaising with C-Level staff.
  • Must be able to interphase with both technical and non-technical staff.
