Job Title: Enterprise Architect (OSS/BSS, Salesforce Industry Cloud)

Location: UK (Remote/Hybrid Options Available)

Contract Type: Outside IR35

Duration: 6-12 months (with potential extension)

Rate: £700 a day

About the Role

We are seeking a Enterprise Architect with strong expertise in Operational Support Systems (OSS), Business Support Systems (BSS), and Salesforce Industry Cloud. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic organisation working on large-scale digital transformation projects within the telecoms and technology sectors.

As a key member of the architecture team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable, high-performance solutions that integrate OSS/BSS platforms with Salesforce Industry Cloud. You will work closely with stakeholders, business analysts, and development teams to ensure seamless system integration and alignment with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect and design end-to-end OSS/BSS solutions, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture standards.
• Lead the integration of Salesforce Industry Cloud with existing OSS/BSS ecosystems.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance on best practices for system integration, data flows, and automation.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define requirements and translate them into scalable architectural solutions.
• Ensure security, performance, and compliance considerations are embedded in all designs.
• Troubleshoot architectural challenges and provide recommendations for improvements.

Required Skills & Experience

• Proven experience as an Architect working on OSS/BSS platforms in telecoms or related industries.
• Hands-on experience with Salesforce Industry Cloud, including solution design and implementation.
• Strong understanding of telecom OSS/BSS frameworks, service orchestration, and automation.
• Expertise in API design, integration patterns, and middleware technologies.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and their integration with enterprise systems.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and microservices architectures.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

Desirable Skills

• Experience with Salesforce Communications Cloud and telecom-specific accelerators.
• Knowledge of TM Forum standards (eTOM, SID, Open APIs).
• Previous experience working on large-scale digital transformation projects.
