Job Title: Junior Network Engineer

Salary: £27,000

Location: Cheshire (Hybrid Working)

The Company

An industry leading ISP is seeking a Junior Network Engineer to work out of their newly developed network operations centre. They’re a fast growing service provider, offering Core and WAN connectivity to mid and large enterprise businesses across the UK.

About the Role

The Junior Network Engineer will be a key part of the team acting as the first line of response. As a Junior Network Engineer, you will have a good understanding of supporting customers directly, and have an eagerness to learn. You will report directly to the Support Manager, and have multiple opportunities to grow and develop your skills.

• Working with both technical and non-technical staff, you will be the first response to customer issues on their services.
• Your key focus is to provide a fast and professional response turning business problems into business solutions.

Skills & Experience

• Ideally CCNA certified, or working towards.
• Experience with routers, switches and other network environments.
• Have exposure to TCP/IP, DNS, and network related issues.
• Have experience supporting desktops.
• Ideally have Managed Service experience.
• Have customer liaising experience.
• Must be able to interphase with both technical and non-technical customers.
