Job Title: Cloud Security Architect

Location: Leipzig

Salary: €67,000 – €95,000

A leading business in their field are seeking a Cloud Security Architect to join their established and growing team in Leipzig.

A truly exciting large enterprise corporation, that has been established for 100 years with over 4000 employees from multiple specialisms across Saxony, Saxony-Anhalt and Thuringia, is undergoing an exciting Digital Transformation following multi-million funding from public expenditure.

This is an exciting time to join as a Cloud Security Architect, as you will be a vital part of this transformation, contributing to the design, development and operation of their cloud security infrastructure at an early stage of development.

As this digital transformation is in early stages, they are looking for an Architect with experience in any public cloud and ISMS vendor.

Please note this is a 3 year contract, with a view to extend to 5 years.

About the Cloud Security Architect Role

• Defining and establishing security standards and measures for the new cloud-based infrastructure
• Design, develop and implement a ISMS based upon ISO2700X and BSI basic protection, introducing uniform security requirements as a standard for the new digital platform and its interfaces to existing infrastructure
• Design, develop and implement of an IT Security System, with measures for preventing cyber-attacks and incident response management in order to analyse, prepare, plan, detect and manage security incidents
• Assisting with the design and development, and continuous improvement of security architecture based upon a ZeroTrust approach, embedding it into the architecture of the platform

The Ideal Candidate

• Experience in conception, design, development and implementation of IT Cloud Security
• Experience in AWS, Azure or GCP and ISMS systems
• Strong understanding of IT Security standards such as ISO2700X or BSI basic protection
• Minimum B2 German, able to work to a professional standard in a German speaking environment, and excellent English
• Leadership experience, with the ability to provide technical expertise across the organisation
