Job Title: Senior Network Specialist

Salary: £45,000 – £60,000

Senior Network Specialist Role & Responsibilities

As a Senior Network Specialist, you will have the opportunity to work with senior members of the Networks team to deliver the highest level of Networking and Infrastructure projects for the MSP’s clients. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Gaining exposure to presales, design, and deployment of Cisco, Juniper, and/or Aruba LAN, WAN, and WLAN products across core networking, Layer 2 and 3 environments.
• BAU operational support for critical network environments.
• Customer consultation and site-to-site implementations.

Skills & Experience Required for the Senior Network Specialist Role

As a Senior Network Specialist, you will be given the opportunity to work on a variety of the latest technology and software from some of the largest global vendors. The business does, however, ask that you have:

• CCNP or JNCIP level knowledge. Whilst the certification is not required, experience working at that level is essential.
• A background in Cisco LAN, WAN, and WLAN is a must.
• Experience working with FortiGate, Palo Alto, and other equivalent security vendors is essential.
• Strong communication skills, including presentation abilities in both face-to-face and virtual environments.
