Security Engineer

Location: Remote in Germany – You must reside in Germany to be considered

Salary: €75,000 – €100,000

A leading, international Service Provider is looking for a Security Engineer to join their team on a remote working basis, due to recent successes and investment within the Networks and Security team.

This role is primarily remote with occasional travel to the customer site, and fully expensed meetups for you and the team, once a month.

With a team of over 1000 specialists across Europe (including 140 in Germany), you will be joining an expanding and growing team.

Security Engineer Role and Responsibilities

As Security Engineer, you will delivery security solutions to the business’s large client base using either, or both, Palo Alto or Cisco Firepower software Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Project Planning, including development, implementation and Commissioning of customer-tailored security solutions from Cisco or Palo Alto.
• Analysing the customer’s technical requirements and then consulting the client’s comprehensive service portfolio.
• Further development and optimization of an already implemented solution.
• Troubleshooting security solutions.

Skills and Experience Required for the Security Engineer

The business will offer you training, development and career progression opportunities, with opportunities to earn certifications with industry leading vendors such as Cisco, or Palo Alto. The business do ask that you have:

• 3+ Years experience working with Cisco Firepower OR Palo Alto.
• Experience of development and configuration of security infrastructures.
• Experience and knowledge of Networks.
• Fluent German speaking and good English.
