Location: London or Leeds (Predominantly Office Based)

Salary: £30,000 – £60,000 DOE – Double OTE (Uncapped Commission)

 

The Company

An award-winning Managed Service Provider who are specialists in next generation storage and backup technologies are looking for an Account Manager to join their high performing sales team in either of their London or Leeds office.

They are one of very few vendor agnostic resellers and have won multiple Storage Reseller of the Year Awards, due to their fantastic bespoke offering due to being independent from Vendors. Meaning you will have a lot of agility when offering solutions to your customers.

 

Account Manager Role and Responsibilities

As the Account Manager, you will work towards developing long-term relationships with customers engage with all seniorities of people, including senior executives.

Your daily tasks will include:

  • Develop and grow existing client account where possible.
  • Report on sales activity, setting and tracking account targets.
  • Provide suggestions on improvements for sales strategies and opportunities for growth.
  • Working with the fantastic technical team to deliver bespoke solutions for your accounts.
  • Work with internal teams such as Marketing, to execute successful sales campaigns.
  • Sell Storage and Backup solutions alongside Managed Services.

 

Skills & Experience Required for the Account Manager

The business offers in-depth support and flexible working with only occasional travel to the company office: To support you to work however is best for you. The business asks that you have:

  • Strong previous experience working in an Account Management role or something similar or stepping up from Sales Development or Business Development
  • Experience of 1+ years working in a Sales role at an MSP
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, able to work effectively with both technical, and non-technical staff.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
