Network Support Engineer

Salary: £45K Total Package

An award-winning managed and professional service provider is seeking a Network Support Engineer. The company are fast growing, industry leading managed service provider delivering in to mid and large enterprise clients.

Enterprise Network Engineer Role

As Network Support Engineer, you will be a key part of the team as you provide support across a range of networking technologies within Cisco and Fortinet. You will have the opportunity to work on mid to large scale enterprise networking environments as you support customers in complex LAN, WLAN and Cisco DNA environments. Additionally, you will:

• Support LAN and WLAN solutions across mid and large enterprise environments.
• Support LAN R&S, next gen security and Wireless solutions.
• Operational management across network and network security environments.

Skills and Experience required for the Network Support Engineer:

• 3 years’ experience working in managed services.
• Experience working with LAN and WLAN environments, including implementation.
• Experience in working with Cisco Networks, ideally holding CCNA certification.
• Experience in working with firewalls, ideally Cisco FirePOWER (TD and MC) and/or FortiGate, but equivalent will suffice.
• Have customer liaising experience.
• Experience with Cisco DNAC, and Cisco ISE would be beneficial.
• Must be able to interphase with both technical and non-technical customers.
