The Company

A leading Managed Service Provider based in the North-East are seeking a Network Consultant. My client specialises in delivering end to end solutions across multiple technical stacks. Ranging from Enterprise Networking, Network Security, Cyber, Cloud Services, and a full managed service portfolio. They support mid to large enterprise companies, from Councils, Universities, Schools, and large office spaces.

The Role

The Network Consultant will be a key part of the team, primarily focusing on project delivery. The right person will deliver the Design and Implementation of Cisco Network solutions across SME and large enterprise sites, working with Cisco R&S, Security solutions, and Infrastructures.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement network solutions directly and alongside operational teams across Cisco networks
• Deal directly with clients, specifying their needs and providing solutions
• Design and delivery of Enterprise Networks, Security and Firewalls
• Work as an escalation point if needed and technical lead during incident management, provide training to junior staff

Skills / Experience required for the Network Consultant

• 5 years’ experience working in an MSP or ISP environment
• CCNP, CCDP certified, ideally Enterprise and Security
• Experience working with WAN and LAN across Enterprise infrastructure
• Have experience in working across 2nd and 3rd line support
• Ideally have Managed Service experience
• Have customer liaising experience
• Must be able to interphase with both technical and non-technical customers
