The Company

An Exciting new App development company working in the Health and care industry is looking to grow and develop its applications development team with a Senior Android Developer. After huge success in their market, my client is looking for strong app developers to come in and develop applications for its enterprise clients.

They have grown their business on the back of developing in-house talent and promoting exceptional talent internally. They have an abundance of established sectors within their market and have a number of exciting projects on-going and in the pipeline.

Responsibilities

The successful Senior Android Developer will be given a great deal of autonomy and will be challenged with cutting edge projects that span all areas of mobile development.

Typical work for the Senior Android Developer will include building functionality, for new and existing apps from detailed specifications. Developers are supported by the UX/UI Team.

You must be UK based but will be working from home.

The Senior Android Developer Technical Skills:

• Minimum of 5 years development experience
• Android application development.
• Java coding experience for Android
• Experience with SDK’s
• Experience converting existing Java Code to Kotlin
• Experienced coding on Android platforms
• Have previous experience contributing Apps to the App store or Google Play.
• Able to demonstrate applications they have developed professionally and personally, through the app store, GitHub, Bitbucket would be helpful
• Experience of debugging their own code and writing clean code
• Experience with UX team
