We have a Microsoft Security Engineer opportunity in London, for a leading MSP and Microsoft Partner. The London based MSP is looking for a Microsoft Security Engineer to join their team. Working directly for the Technical Director, you will be the lead on their security offering, acting as an SME on all things security.

About the Microsoft Security Engineer role

As a Microsoft Security Engineer, you will lead client engagements around security, understanding current challenges and planning roadmaps for continual improvements. You will help clients plan penetration tests, vulnerability assessments, and help to future proof the customer’s security infrastructure, all whilst keeping a focus on Microsoft Security tools.

The ideal candidate will offer a strong blend of technical support through the arranging of vulnerability scans and penetration tests, but seek a consultative approach to security maturity, taking the lead on customer engagements and helping them to identify the required solutions and outcomes that will help them secure their environments.

Skills & experience required for the Microsoft Security Engineer

• Good understanding of security frameworks (ISO, NIST, etc.)
• Strong technical understanding of Microsoft Security tools (EMS & Sentinel)
• Any Microsoft Security exams would be advantageous (AZ500 & MS500)
• Strong customer-facing skills are essential
• Strong technical security skills
