Wireless Surveyor Role and Responsibilities

As a wireless surveyor you will be travelling around the North of England attending new and excising client sites conducting surveys ready for wireless and network deployments. Your responsibilities will also include:

  • You will help to determine where to place WiFi APs to avoid interference and avoid overlap coverage from other Aps.
  • Develop wireless network infrastructures and make recommendations on systems enhancements for optimization.
  • Collect and analyses WLAN metrics and RF spectrum properties.
  • Decipher the building layout, obstacles, and anything that might contribute towards signal interference.

 

Skills and experience required for a Wireless Surveyor.

The business will support you with any training you need to perform at your best. The business does ask that you have:

  • Over 12 months experience relevant to Surveying.
  • Previous experience working with Cisco products, Cisco Meraki or Ekahau.
  • A professional can-do approach is critical in this customer facing role.
  • Full UK driving license and access to own transport.
