Salary: Up to £80,000

With a big focus on training and development on the relevant courses that will help you to achieve in the role.

VMware Solutions Architect Roles & Responsibilities

As a VMware Solutions Architect, you will champion the use of the VMware suite. You will work alongside the sales and accounts teams in a customer-facing role, understanding customer needs, and designing solutions whilst responding to RFI’s, RFP’s. The VMware Solutions Architect will be the lead for Virtualisation Services, working closely with the vendor to develop their propositions and go-to-market strategy.

• Customer-facing design.
• VMWare evangelism – advising customers on the most suitable solutions for their organisation.
• Advising customers on VMware’s latest products and services.
• Keeping abreast of the latest technologies to hit the market.
• Working with both technical and non-technical staff, you will create and confidently deliver technical presentations internally and externally.
• Working closely with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Skills & Experience

• Ideally VMware Certified.
• Must have a high-level understanding of VMware and next-gen products.
• Have at least 2 years of experience in customer-facing roles.
• Have a Service provider background (even better vendor or VAR experience).
• Must be able to interphase with both sales and technical staff.
• Must have an understanding of a Value-Added Reseller.
