The Company

A growing Financial Company based in the North West with over 10 years of experience in the industry. They have a key focus on designing and developing digital solutions for large financial clients throughout the UK. With a big focus on designing bespoke requirements.

The Role

As a Software Tester, you will champion their test team for Business Solutions team acting as the technical lead for Automation testing, Manual testing, and performance testing pre and post-development. You will work alongside the development team, understanding requirements, and developing solutions to match.

Software Tester Overview

• Manage and execute complete test cycles of software development
• Cover a variety of testing from Automation, Manual, mobile, and API testing
• Cover testing on Scheduled appointments and ad-hoc
• Mentoring junior members of the team
• Working closely with technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Travel to the office will be required

Skills / Experience required for the Software Tester

• Ideally ISTQB Certified
• At least 5 years’ experience in testing
• At least two years’ experience in Automation
• Strong knowledge of Selenium, or Postman, or Jira
• Previous experience working on Web Applications
• Experienced working running tests on your own
• Must be able to interphase with both sales and technical staff
• Must be able to clear a financial background check
