Security Solutions Architect

Location: Remote/ Home-Based – Must be based in the UK

Salary: £65,000 – £70,000

The Company

An award-winning Cisco Gold Partner is seeking a Security Solutions Architect to join their fast growing team. The company are an industry leading managed service provider, that delivers in to mid and large enterprise clients.

The business has a keen focus on developing their staff by providing training, certifications, and exposure to cutting-edge technologies. This role is completely remote based; however, you must be based in the UK to be considered.

The Security Solutions Architect Role

As Security Solutions Architect you will be a key part of the team, split across Pre-Sales, customer engagement, Solutions Architecture, leading project delivery. You will deliver planning of mid to large scale enterprise networking environments, discussing key customer needs and wants, and translating those into a reality. Additionally, your role will include:

• Solutions Architecture across complex Network Security environments
• Pre-Sales engagement with the customer
• Design and delivery of Cisco Security solutions, exposure to multiple Cisco solutions is ideal
• Design and implement LAN and WLAN solutions across mid and large enterprise environments
• Lead projects at a senior level, working as a senior contact point to junior members of the team
• Work across project deployments, including design and implementation across complex Next-Gen Firewalls, LAN, and WLAN.

Skills and Experience required for the Security Solutions Architect:

As a Cisco Gold Partner, the business offers support for earning certifications that will be hugely impactful in your career. The business does ask that you have:

• 5 years’ + experience working in managed services and a Senior Engineer and Solutions Architect.
• CCIE, CCDP and/or CCNP is beneficial.
• Demonstrable experience in delivering Cisco ASA, and FirePOWER solutions including FTD and FMC.
• Strong understanding of Cisco Security portfolio, from Next-Generation Firewalls, ISE, Umbrella, AMP and StealthWatch.
• Experience working with LAN and WLAN environments, including implementation.
• Delivered large scale projects.
• Have customer liaising experience.
• Experience with Cisco DNAC would be beneficial.
• Must be able to interphase with both technical and non-technical customers.
