Network Engineer Roles & Responsibilities

As the Network Engineer you will be a key part of their Network Security Team. You will be responsible for leading customer support, troubleshooting network problems and consulting and advising customers on their network security roadmap. You will have the opportunity to work with an exciting mix of technologies, from Cisco Networking, Next-Gen firewalls and the latest Software Defined Network products.

 

Responsibilities:

  • You will support customer network environments, acting as point of escalation within Enterprise networks and security.
  • Acting as a point of escalation with customer to troubleshoot incidents and problems within their network environment.
  • Work with project teams to develop and deliver leading edge technology solutions.
  • You will keep up to date with the latest trends in the networking space.

 

Skills & Experience:

  • Ideally you will have 3 solid years’ experience working in an IT managed services.
  • Experience with Cisco, Fortinet, Checkpoint or any other Network Security technologies.
  • You will ideally hold a CCNA or CCNP certification with a passion to continue to develop your skillset.
  • You will have passion for delivering customer excellence.
  • You will have previous experience of conversing with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
