Salary: £225 a day

Status: Inside IR35

Location: Fareham, Hampshire – Hybrid

Duration: 6 Months

 

1st Line Support Engineer Role and Responsibilities

As the businesses new 1st Line Support Engineer, you will be a key part of the team, focussing directly on triaging and support internal tickets acting as the first point of contract. The day-to-day responsibilities of the role include:

  • Acting as the first point of contact for the internal team.
  • Supporting and ticket logging issues.
  • Escalating tickets to the 2nd Line Support Engineer when necessary.
  • Managing incoming support tickets, whilst also working proactively.
  • Providing regular professional, frequent and relevant customer communication.

 

Skills and Experience required for the 1st Line Support Engineer

  • 1 year of experience working in an Infrastructure Support based role.
  • Experience triage and logging tickets.
  • Able to troubleshoot issues across Office 365, Microsoft Suite, and Licensing.
  • Knowledge of Office 365, MAC’s, and the Full Microsoft Suite.
  • Ideally have worked within a busy support desk.
  • Must be able to interphase with both technical and non-technical customers.
