About the Technical Support Analyst Role

As Technical Support Analyst, you will be instrumental in the ongoing service the business offers, acting as an integral part of the service desk team. Your day-to-day tasks will include:

  • Being an integral part of the service desk team, assisting in resolving issues for customers in a short timeframe.
  • Help support junior members of the service desk team.
  • Escalate tickets to senior members of the infrastructure support team when necessary.
  • Effective use of ITSM tools to manager customer tickets and ensure issues are resolved efficiently.
  • Work with other members of the support team, to troubleshoot and diagnose issues.

 

Skills and Experience Required for the Technical Support Analyst Role:

  • 2+ Years of experience in a service desk support role.
  • Knowledge and understanding of a range of key vendors: Microsoft, VMware etc.
  • A strong understanding of ITIL.
  • Previous experience in a support role dealing with tickets.
  • Customer service and communication skills.
  • Being able to work on your own, while also able to communicate effectively as part of a team.
  • Industry relevant certifications such as ITIL, Microsoft and VMWare ideal, but not essential.

 

To be considered for this role, you must be UK based and eligible for SC Clearance.
