Type: Contract / Contractor (inside IR35)

Salary: £650 per day

The Company

A Microsoft Gold Partner is seeking a Solutions Architect to work out of their easily accessible North Midlands Office. The Solutions Architect will be a key part of providing Microsoft Infrastructure as a Service to their clients.

The Role

As a Solutions Architect, you will champion the use of the Microsoft Stack for Infrastructure, Power Platforms, and The Cloud. You will work alongside the Solutions team in a customer-facing role. The project is to migrate Lotus Notes to Office365 including power platforms and power apps.

You will need to understanding customer needs, designing solutions whilst responding to RFI’s, RFP’s and delivering POC’s. The Solutions Architect will be the lead for the practice in delivering Office365 to customers, from scoping out the requirements, designing, and delivering.

Solutions Architect Overview

• Customer-facing architecture and design
• Microsoft evangelism – advising customers on the most suitable solutions for their organisation
• Advising customers on Microsoft’s latest products and services
• Keeping abreast of the latest technologies to hit the market
• Understanding competitor propositions
• Working with both Technical and Non-technical staff, you will create and confidently deliver technical presentations internally and externally
• Working closely with technical and non-technical stakeholders

Skills / Experience required for the Solutions Architect

• Must have a high level of understanding of Office365, Power Platforms, and SharePoint
• Previous experience migrating Lotus Note to Office365
• Must have a high-level understanding of the Microsoft Stack
• Have at least 5 years experience in customer-facing roles
• Have a Managed Service background (ideally Managed Service Provider)
• Must be able to interphase with both sales and technical staff
• Ideally have Microsoft Certifications, however not essential
