Location: Remote (Must be a UK resident)

Rate: £700 (Outside IR35)

Duration: 12 months

This organisation is leading the way in providing private cloud solutions for customers across the UK and Europe, they collaborate with some of the biggest household names in the EMEA region.

Currently, the business is seeking a Senior Python Developer to join their team remotely, with occasional travel to Europe required. Please note that consideration for this role requires current residence and eligibility to work in the UK.

 

About the Senior Python Developer role

In your capacity as a Senior Python Developer, you will be involved in greenfield projects, allowing you to have a real impact with your work and contribute to the entire development lifecycle. Joining an agile development team, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Full development lifecycle of greenfield solutions.
  • Contribution to the design, development, and implementation of software.
  • Integration of API frameworks using Flask.
  • Integration of OpenAPIs with Swagger.
  • Participation in the design of multi-threaded solutions.
  • Collaboration with the Product Development team.
  • Adherence to Test-Driven Development methodology.

 

Skills & Experience Required for the Senior Python Developer

You will be supported to work how is best for you, with remote working and support with any tech or software you need. The business does ask that you have:

  • 5+ years of experience developing platforms.
  • Strong backend experience with Python.
  • Significant experience with API frameworks and OpenAPI (Flask and Swagger).
  • Solid experience with Microservices.
  • Adherence to TDD.
  • Must currently reside and work in the UK.
