A leading Enterprise company is looking to hire a Senior Network Engineers in Manchester to work across the design, delivery and overall management of their Network and Security Infrastructure. Our client manages a large estate and works with some of the latest technologies, from Next Gen Firewalls, and Software Defined Networking. They are a well-established organisation, who offer excellent training opportunities.

About the Senior Network Engineer role

The Senior Network Engineer will be a key part of the team, split across both BAU and project delivery. The right person will deliver the Design and Implementation of Cisco R&S, ASA Firewalls, and also will turn their hands to F5 Load Balancers, Cisco ISE and Meraki Wireless solutions

• Design and implement network solutions across Cisco stack
• Design and deliver security infrastructure, working with Cisco ISE, and F5 Load Balancers, alongside ASA and FirePOWER firewalls
• Roll-out new projects, upgrading, maintaining and improving their Networks
• Manage the pre-existing infrastructure, supporting users and fixing faults

Skills & experience required for the Senior Network Engineer role

• 3-4 years experience working in a Senior Networking position
• Someone who can hit the ground running, and be able to overcome issues quickly
• Experience in delivering Cisco R&S projects, building from the ground up
• Experience in building ASA firewalls from scratch
• Experience working with WAN and LAN across MPLS infrastructure
• Experience in working with both Cisco ISE and F5 Load Balancers
• Ideally have Managed Service experience
• Must be able to interphase with both technical and non-technical customers
