The Company

A UK leading, IT Solution and Service Provider are looking for a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to join the business in their Cloud and Infrastructure services team. The business offers on-prem, Cloud and Network Security solutions to, delivering for mid to large enterprise customers across the UK.

The business focus on delivering end to end solutions for their partners, working with cutting-edge technologies across Cloud, Security and Data Centre. All of which will be available for the team to learn and work with.

Senior Infrastructure Engineer Role & Responsibilities

Day-to-day operational support of cloud infrastructure, including:

• Developing and deploying internal tools to improve service delivery.
• Customer meetings, designing and deploying solutions end to end across infrastructure and data centre environments.
• Managing and resolving technical issues escalated by support engineering teams.
• Proactive and reactive incident and problem management across supported systems.
• Providing technical support and guidance for changes to the existing infrastructure.
• Provisioning tenants and services within the cloud environment.

Skills & Experience

Proven experience delivering, managing and supporting technical infrastructure in enterprise settings. This includes hands-on work with:

• VMware ESXi.
• VMware vCentre.
• Cisco UCS.
• Veeam.
• Windows Active Directory Infrastructure.
• Infrastructure management and monitoring, such as SNMP, logging, configuration backups, and capacity planning.
