Security Operations Team Lead

Location: UK and Eindhoven

Salary: £550 a Day 

Status: Outside IR35

Contract Length: 6 Months

The Company

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Security Operations Team Lead to join one of Europe’s largest Enterprise Sites in South Netherlands. You will work as part of a forward-thinking digital transformation business, supporting the customer’s 1^st and 2nd line Security Risk Management.

This is a hybrid role, with two days working from home, but will require you to be onsite 3 days a week in The Netherlands. They are however, accepting contractors form the UK.

This is a 6-month contract, operating outside of IR35. Travel and accommodation is not provided by the business and must be paid for by the Contractor.

About the Security Operations Team Lead Role

Our client is looking to hire an experienced Security Operations Team Lead for their Security division. As a Security Operations Team Lead, you will be responsible for driving the quality and performance of the team and operations ensuring that they match the agreed deliverables and to the required standard of quality, within specified SLA’s.

• You will oversee the operations and maintenance of the Security Services
• Drive continuous improvement of the performance
• You will review risk, and ensure actions plans are issued and implemented
• Help the business define their processes and operations
• Provide an escalation and arbitration level for service issues
• You must be comfortable in front of all levels of business units, as building relationships and leveraging them will be a key element of this role

Skills & experience required for the Security Operations Team Lead

• Min 5+ years’ experience leading and managing operation teams
• Have a background in IT and Engineering
• CISM OR CISSP Certified is preferred
• Experience of Security, DLP, and SIEM tools
• Approachable and dedicated candidate with great communication skills
• Solid commercial understanding with the ability to work out costing
• Good understanding of Service Management principles – ITIL etc
