Job Title: Recruitment Consultant

Location: Level 2, 14 Castle Street, Liverpool L2 0NE

Salary: £25,000 – £30,000 + Commission (£35,000 – £40,000 Year 1)

Your role will involve

We offer training and support from your very first call, to building and maintaining ongoing relationships. We also provide training to help you understand the IT industry, so don’t worry if you don’t understand the difference between a data centre or a data network, we can help.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Networking with IT professionals, whilst researching and improving your sector knowledge.
  • Identifying, attracting, and engaging with industry influencers.
  • Interviewing candidates to understand their requirements and gain valuable market information.
  • Provide professional advice on market conditions, CV and interview techniques and manage expectations.
  • Work as an integral member of the team, motivating one another and communicating effectively at all levels.

 

As you progress within the role you will receive training in:

  • Prospecting for new business by communicating with hiring managers to understand their recruitment needs.
  • Consulting and engaging with clients to understand their requirements and sell the most appropriate solution for attracting the right candidates.

 

Skills & Experience required for the Recruitment Consultant role

No previous experience is required as we are looking for hard-working people who are willing to learn. However, to be a successful Consultant you will be self-motivated, driven, and passionate to succeed within your career, maintaining positivity and drive throughout. You will also:

  • Be confident in communicating with professional organisations over the phone, email, and face to face.
  • Love communicating with different people, with the ability to work with people at all levels.
  • Be hardworking. This is a job where the more you put in, the more you get out – including unlimited commission and holiday incentives for just doing your job!
  • Be diligent and detailed in your work; cutting corners is not for you.
  • Be passionate about overcoming challenges and finding solutions.

Additionally, you will have a strong desire to build relationships with both clients and candidates, create a portfolio of professional business connections, and an overall brand presence in the IT recruitment market.
