Job Title: Public Sector Account Manager
Location: Oxford (Hybrid Working)
Salary: £40,000 – £50,000 + 10% Commission on GP
About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Public Sector Account Manager to join a growing technology services company based in Oxford. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing key public sector accounts, building strong relationships, and driving sales growth across a range of services.
You will be working closely with clients in the public sector to understand their needs, provide tailored technology solutions, and ensure excellent service delivery. This is a great opportunity for someone with strong account management skills and an interest in technology solutions for the public sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and grow public sector accounts, ensuring client satisfaction and retention.
- Develop and execute sales strategies to drive revenue growth.
- Identify new business opportunities within the public sector.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with key stakeholders.
- Collaborate with internal teams to deliver tailored solutions to clients.
- Stay up-to-date with public sector trends, challenges, and regulations.
- Achieve sales targets and KPIs, driving profitability.
Skills and Experience
- Proven experience in account management, within the public sector working for an MSP
- Strong understanding of the public sector landscape and its unique challenges.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- A proactive, results-driven approach with a focus on customer satisfaction.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a hybrid work environment.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills.
