With deployments across the latest technologies, from SD-WAN to next generation firewall solutions, you will have the opportunity to work on bleeding-edge technology. You will also be supported with earning certifications from industry leading vendors like Cisco and Juniper.

 

NOC Engineer Role and Responsibilities

As a NOC Engineer, you will be primarily focussed on 2nd to 3rd tier support across complex core networking environments around Networking routing and switching with multiple vendors. Additionally, your role will include:

  • Regular interaction with BGP, OSPF, MPLS and ISIS.
  • Cisco, Juniper and/or other vendor WAN R&S.
  • Managing, maintaining, and monitoring critical network systems.
  • Break/fix resolution and fault finding.
  • Firewall management and maintenance.

 

Your Skills & Experience

The business is committed to your professional development and offers support for earning vendor certifications that you choose to pursue. The business does ask that you have:

  • 3 – 5 years’ experience in working across Network environments, ideally in a Service Provider setting.
  • Experience with Cisco R&S, WAN and Core Networking.
  • Understanding with Fortinet and other security vendors.
  • 2nd and 3rd tier network operation support.
  • Experience in a senior escalation point environment.
  • Eagerness to learn and develop, with desire to work with the latest tech.
