Job Title: Network Engineer

Location: London

Salary: £35,000 – £45,000

Our client is a market leading technology company who specialise in delivering AV, Automation and Network Solutions to high-profile clients. These span across large residential estates, to multi-million pound super Yachts.

About the Network Engineer role

The Network Engineer will be a key part of the team, supporting and resolving issues for medium to large enterprise clients. As a Network Engineer, you will have a good understanding of supporting customers directly, and have an eagerness to learn. You will be responsible for resolving anything from 1^st to 3^rd line issues, monitoring Networks and implementing Routers, Switches, Wireless devices, Telephony systems and Security solutions.

• Working with both technical and non-technical staff, you will be involved in supporting new services, assisting on configurations, and working on all systems; Network Monitoring, troubleshooting issues and installations
• Your key focus is to provide proactive support, maintenance and configuration of Cisco devices

Skills & experience required for the Network Engineer

• 3/4 years experience working in Network support
• Experience working with Cisco R&S
• Have good people skills
• Experienced in delivering WLAN solutions
• Experience working with CUCM, VoIP and security
• Have a good understanding of LAN/WAN protocols, routing protocols, switching
• Have customer liaising experience
• Must be able to interphase with both technical and non-technical customers
