About the Lead Penetration Tester role

As a Lead Penetration Tester, you will report directly to the Managing consultant and be responsible for working with their clients offering Penetrations Testing services.

This role is one of a kind – the client wants a strong technically minded and ambitious person to come in and pioneer the Pen Test function throughout the business. You would be the first member of the team, responsible for designing the team and leading the department once more testers are taken on. This role has the potential to turn into a ‘Head Of’ position in no time.

Typically doing Network or Web app testing although their services don’t end there, you have the opportunity to follow your passion and grow your career as they operate in a number of different areas giving you exposure to a variety of different testing environments.

The Person

• Check Team Member status (or the capability of obtaining status)
• Team leadership experience is desirable but not essential
• Demonstrable experience testing in a number of different environments
• Strong Network Testing skills
• Strong Web App Testing skills
• Red Teaming experience
• Good stakeholder management skills
• Collaborative – Shares ideas and supports with the development of colleagues
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Skills & experience for the Lead Penetration Tester

• CCP, CISSP, OSCP, CEH or CISSP is desirable
• SC Cleared or eligible for SC Clearance
• Demonstrable Penetration Testing experience for a minimum of 2 years
