Salary: £60,000 + Generous Commission Structure (Uncapped)

Location: Manchester – Hybrid (2 days in the office)

They have a top tier marketing and lead generation team in place to ensure all of the new business you are doing will be warm as opposed to making completely cold outreach.

 

Business Development Director Role and Responsibilities

As the business’s new Business Development Director, you will be tasked with delivering against set targets for booking meetings and leader generation for the company’s Account Directors. You day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Actively prospecting to C-level clients.
  • Closing deals and winning business from warm leads generated for you.
  • Utilising your network and skills to generate new logo’s.
  • Converting leads.

 

Your Skills and Experience

The business will support you to work however is best for you in a hybrid and flexible environment. The business does ask that you have:

  • Clearly demonstrating the right attitude to learn, develop and progress and be willing to pick up the phone.
  • 3+ years selling in a traditional IT MSP
  • Ability to prospect and generate leads from scratch.
  • Previous experience of building and developing relationships with senior stakeholders.
  • Demonstrate experience of winning business through consultative sales approaches.
  • The ability to develop relationships by building trust with key stakeholders.
  • Demonstrate previous experience of delivering and overachieving annual sales targets.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
