Location – Hertfordshire – Hybrid

Salary – £35,000 – £40,000

An industry leading Microsoft Partner with expertise in delivering end-to-end solutions to SMB across Microsoft 365, Azure and Cyber Security is looking for a 2nd Line Support Engineer to join their team based in Hertfordshire.

2nd Line Support Engineer – Role and responsibilities

  • Supporting existing clients by working with the latest Microsoft Technologies – Microsoft 365, Azure and Windows Server.
  • Providing technical assistance on implementation and migrations.
  • Collaborating with other teams within the business to ensure issues are resolved efficiently and in a timely manner.
  • Upholding a high level of customer service to our valued clients.
  • Providing onsite support when necessary.

 

Skill and experience Required for 2nd Line Support Engineer

  • Ideally hold 3+ years of experience working for a managed service provider.
  • Must be competent in supporting and administering Microsoft 365, Azure AD/Entra and Windows Server.
  • Knowledge across, SQL Server, Active Directory, Powershell, Windows Networking, Basic Routing/Switching/Firewalls if preferable.
  • Applicants will hold up to date Microsoft Certifications (Associate or Expert)
  • A great level of Customer Service.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • A keen desire to learn and progress with a strong analytical mind and troubleshooting skills.
