Senior Network Engineer

Senior Network Engineer (Up to £55k+benefits) – Cisco R&S, ISE, Identity Services Engine, Software Defined, Delivery, Design, Deployment, Pre-sales, Consultation.

The Company

An award-winning Managed Service Provider (MSP) is seeking a Network Engineer. They work across SME to large enterprise project delivery, working across a variety of Cisco Technologies. Across LAN and WLAN Networks, they deliver Cisco DNA, ISE, Software Defined Networks, and a whole host of technologies to some big names clients.

The Role

The Network Engineer will be a key part of the team, split across both BAU and project delivery. The right person will deliver the Design and Implementation of Cisco Network solutions across SME and large enterprise sites, working with Cisco R&S, with a focus on ISE and Cisco DNA.

Network Engineer Overview

• Design and implement network solutions directly and alongside operational teams across Cisco networks
• Deal directly with clients, specifying their needs and providing solutions
• Opportunities to work alongside Pre-Sales teams, and work towards Solutions Consultant or TDA roles
• Design and delivery of core and distribution equipment in multi-site locations across the Midlands
• Work as an escalation point if needed and technical lead during incident management

Skills / Experience required for the Senior Network Engineer

• 5 years’ experience working in an MSP environment
• Identifiable experience in working with Cisco ISE, Identity Services Engine
• Ideally CCNA or CCNP Certified
• Cisco LAN/WLAN Project
• Ideally have Managed Service experience
• Have customer liaising experience
• Must be able to interphase with both technical and non-technical customers
