Location: Yorkshire

Salary: £40,000 – £42,000

About the Head of Infrastructure and Networks role

The Head of Infrastructure and Networks will lead the ISP’s internal teams. Reporting directly to the Operations Director, the role will involve looking after current processes, as well as bringing fresh new ideas to the table. Your primary goal will be to ensure customer delivery is at its best, whilst adhering and ensuring the team adheres to SLAs, with set KPIs.

• Operational Management
• Plan, evaluate and improve the efficiency of business processes and procedures to enhance speed, quality, efficiency and output
• Service Delivery
• Lead engineer in maintaining backup checks and closure of backup issues
• Turning your hand to provide 2nd and 3rd line support
• Project delivery for new office builds, upgrades and roll-outs
• Support and train junior staff to get them up to speed
• Proactive and reactive support across client estate and the clients own cloud environment
• Supporting junior staff

Skills & experience required for the Head of Infrastructure and Networks

• Hold appropriate Network and/or Infrastructure Qualifications
• Experienced in leading a team of engineers
• Understanding of complex infrastructure and Data Centre operations
• 4/5 years’ experience working across a Senior Infrastructure and Network position
• Cisco, Windows Server, VMware ESX, Active Directory, Exchange, Azure/AWS
• VMware SRM/Veeam
• SAN Storage
• Technical mindset and strong attention to detail
