Salary: £30,000 – £37,500 + Training Allowance

A leading Cyber Security Consultancy is seeking a 3rd Line Support Engineer to be based out of their office near Oxford, with work from home opportunities. They are a growing organisation and are looking to expand their infrastructure team. They work with the latest technologies from DevOps and Cloud, focusing on delivering the best, most secure solutions to some high-profile clients.

About the 3rd Line Support Engineer role

As a 3rd Line Support Engineer, you will:

• Provide technical support for servers and networks
• Act as a senior escalation point
• Support ticketing systems
• Liaising with customers and users
• Troubleshooting and configuration

Skills & experience required for the 3rd Line Support Engineer

• Strong background in troubleshooting, configuring and fault resolution
• A minimum of 3 years experience working with VMware and Windows Servers
• 1 year of Linux experience (CentOS, Ubuntu, and RedHat)
• Understanding of the virtualisation environment
• A strong understanding of Linux Networking
• Exposure to a cloud environment would be ideal
